Terms of Use

1. Who We Are

Helgi Library is operated by Helgi Library s.r.o., a company registered in Prague, Czech Republic (the "Provider"). These Terms of Use govern the use of the helgilibrary.com website and the data services available on it (the "Service").

2. The Service

The Service provides access to economic and company data collected from public and licensed primary sources, verified and normalized by the Provider. Free parts of the Service may be used for personal, non-commercial reference. Paid data is delivered after purchase or under a subscription.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current; we may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Purchases and Licenses

Purchased data (a single indicator, a company dataset, or a subscription) is licensed, not sold. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, every purchase grants a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the data internally and in your own work products with attribution to Helgi Library.

Redistributing, reselling, scraping or systematically extracting the data, or making it available to third parties as a dataset, is not permitted without a separate written agreement.

5. Prices, Taxes and Payments

Prices are stated without VAT. VAT is applied at checkout according to your country: EU customers are charged the VAT of their country, EU businesses with a valid VAT ID purchase under the reverse charge mechanism, and Czech customers are charged Czech VAT in CZK.

Card payments are processed by Stripe and deliver instantly. Bank transfer orders are confirmed once the payment arrives against the issued proforma invoice; a tax invoice is issued on payment.

6. Refunds

Because data is delivered digitally and immediately, completed deliveries are generally non-refundable. If a delivered dataset is materially defective, contact us within 14 days and we will correct it or refund the purchase.

7. Data Quality and No Advice

We work hard to verify and normalize the data, but we provide it "as is" without warranty of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing on the Service is investment, legal or tax advice. Decisions you make based on the data are your own.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, software and the compiled database are the Provider's intellectual property. Underlying public statistics remain subject to their original sources' terms.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Provider's aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

10. Changes and Governing Law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use after a change means acceptance. These Terms are governed by Czech law and any disputes belong to the courts of the Czech Republic.
